Sandra Alverà

Sandra Alverà is the Head of Government Affairs and Sustainability for the Panasonic Europe. In this role, she is driving Panasonic’s Europe corporate affairs strategy on a broad spectrum of digital economy, trade and sustainability files across several European businesses. Sandra leads the development of corporate viewpoints on key regulatory issues. Sandra is also a member of the B20 2021 taskforce for trade and investment where she is advising especially on digital trade. Since 2017, Sandra is a member of the Executive Board of DIGITALEUROPE - the largest European advocacy group of the digital economy - acting on behalf of the information technology, consumer electronics and telecommunications sectors. In this role she supports the association in the governance as well as navigating the complex EU regulatory agenda. Sandra is also the Panasonic’s representative in the Executive Board’s Advisory Council in APPLiA – the largest European advocacy association representing the home appliances industry. Sandra holds a Master Degree in Politics and Policy from Bath University and has studied as well in the USA and Spain. Sandra is fluent in Italian, English, French, and speaks also some Spanish.
