Artificial intelligence promises to be the next frontier not only in technology, but also in legislation. Like the protection of personal data at the turn of the century, the protection of the individual and society from the possible harmful effects of AI is today front and centre for EU policy makers, with a proposal for a Regulation scheduled for later this year. The panel will explore if and which aspects of AI should concern us the most, and what rules are best suited to cope with them.
