Maria Rosa Gibellini

Maria Rosa Gibellini has been Director General of the European Internet Forum (EIF) since 2012, an association led by Members of the European Parliament to discuss digital policy issues with public and private actors. She has worked in the digital policy, innovation and technology sector for most of her career.
An expert in association management, strategy, events and communications, she is Vice President of the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) and a Solvay alumna of the Executive Master in International Association Management.
In 2014 she has co-founded Digitalians, a network of over 500 Italian digital policy professionals from the private and public sector in Brussels.
She has served as juror at EURid’s .eu Web Awards for the past 4 editions.
An Italian national, she holds a degree in translation and conference interpreting from the University of Bologna and has been living in Brussels since 2008.
