Ander Elustondo Jauregui works as a Policy Officer at the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety, at the European Commission. His work focuses on digital infrastructures for the use and re-use of data in health, digital health services and products and artificial intelligence in health. He currently contributes to the creation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS). He has a background in engineering and computer science, and he has previous experience as an IT consultant.

Event Details

The session on E-Health will explore how digital technologies can support the health sector, especially in a year like the one we have passed. Technology and digital are the underlying force for the future in all sectors, especially the digital one. The session would span from the benefit of digital transformation for health sector (touching upon Personalised care, Telemedicine, Cross border healthcare, etc) to the need for (health) data flow in EU, trying to highlight the benefits for the citizens, healthcare practitioners and organisations and for innovators and R&D.
